Jakarta Small Medium Enterprises Cooperation and Trade (KUKMP) Dept. targets to produce 40 thousand new entrepreneurs for next year through entrepreneurship training.

Jakarta KUKMP Dept. Head, Irwandi said, entrepreneurship training is started to be socialized in this year. It is hoped many people are interested to join this training.

"We will socialize it in our areas first then hold the training. We will recruit residents in urban village and sub-district. We will find those who wants to join first," he explained, Wednesday (9/6).

He mentioned, his side has allocated budget Rp 1.2 billion in Revised City Budget 2017 for this program.

"We start to socialize and train this year. It is just 10 percent for the first phase. Next year we will continue it until new entrepreneur is produced. 40 thousand new entrepreneurs are targeted can be produced within one year," he said.

He added, several related SKPDs are involved in this program. Such as Jakarta Industry and Energy (PE) Dept. and Labor and Transmigration Dept. (Disnakertrans).

"It is not only our department, but there are also several departments involved in this. We will keep coordinating with related SKPDs ," he closed.
